ABOUT THE PHOTO
This photo is taken by Leif Liss
The Eurasian Bullfinch (Pyrrhula pyrrhula), known as Domherre in Swedish, is a small, plump songbird recognized for its striking red breast, black cap, and soft, melodic calls. It is commonly found in the forests and gardens of Dalarna, Sweden, especially during winter when it stands out against the snowy landscape. A beloved symbol of the Nordic winter, the Eurasian Bullfinch often visits bird feeders, bringing a splash of color to the otherwise muted tones of the season.
